Auditions are held twice a year. Competitive dancers must enroll in 3 hours a week of Ballet and are encouraged to study all other aspects of dance that we offer. Dancers that compete in any regional or national competitions and/or local performances are required to purchase costumes and attend mandatory rehearsals at the instructors request. Dancers are expected to maintain good grades throughout the school year, maintain proper attendance to dance classes, and display model behavior in and out of the studio. The KDX Dance Team is an award winning group of young ladies who travel up and down the east coast to compete and study with a variety of choreographers. Please see the Dance Team link for information about the current season. All dancers may audition for Comeptitive Dance classes. Select dancers may be asked to perform at local festivities, parades, studio events, and competitions. |
